Surf Boy
SURFBOY
Ride the tide. Dodge the chaos. Survive the surf.
The lost 8-bit cousin of Skate Boy finally crawls out of the cartridge drawer, slaps on sunscreen, and heads straight for disaster. Paddle, balance, and wipe out across endless pixel waves in this gloriously sunburnt reinterpretation of 1980s "sports" gaming.
What's inside:
- Endless ocean survival - how far can you surf?
- Wave-based speed boosts - catch the tide for a leap and speed surge
- Dynamic difficulty - the ocean gets angrier the longer you survive
- Hazards galore: seagulls, sharks, submarines, beach balls, and one very confused windsurfer
- Flip-flop combat - throw your sandals at obstacles like a true beach warrior
- Lives system with invulnerability frames - blink your way back from drowning
- Retro arcade feel with animated sprites and particle splashes
How to play:
- Arrow Keys - Move up/down, paddle left/right to control speed
- Space - Launch flip-flops at incoming threats
- ESC - Pause (press Q to quit when paused)
Hold right to paddle faster and move forward on screen. Time your movement to catch wave power-ups for a speed boost and aerial jump. Avoid the ocean's questionable residents. Survive as long as you can - your best distance is your score!
Controls are simple. The ocean is not. Good luck, surf legend. 🏄♂️🌊
