Devlog #3 Scaling System Rework & Platform Expansion
This week’s focus has been all about adaptability. I’ve been reworking Steel Abyss’s scaling system—shifting from a fixed resolution to a dynamic one. This upgrade means the game now adjusts smoothly across a wide range of screen sizes, paving the way for broader accessibility.
Why does this matter? It opens up the possibility of a mobile-friendly web version. While still in early stages, this change lays the foundation for future support on mobile browsers.
Also exploring potential platform expansion—CrazyGames is on the radar, and I’m waiting to hear back from Centiarus. No new visuals to share just yet (button designs are in progress but staying under wraps for now), but exciting things are brewing.
